Exciting news! We now offer open donations (no appointment needed!) every day if it's under 3 boxes! We still ask that you make sure to carefully review our lists of items we do and do not accept. Just come on in the front doors and bring your items to the donation counter. If you have more than 3 boxes, we kindly ask that you call or email us (help@thistlecreativereuse.com) at least 24 hours in advance so we can be prepared.
We also now have availabililty to do pick-ups 10ish miles from Thistle for 4+ boxes!
WAYS TO DONATE
DROP OFF

HOW DONATION DROP OFF WORKS
1.
Review the list of items we do and do not accept (below) and organize your donation into a box/container that you can leave w/us.
2.
If you have less than 3 boxes come on in!
If you have more than 3 boxes, please give us a heads up by emailing help@thistlecreativereuse.com or call to let us know at least 24-hours in advance. 940.243.2191.
3.
Come into the front door of the store with your items and head toward the donations counter toward the back of the store (or let us know if you need a hand). We will quickly make sure your donation contains what we accept.
We will weigh your donation and apply your loyalty points.
4.
Sit back and relax. Your materials are out of your way and on their way to creative hands for reuse. They skip the waste stream and also give back to the community (check out our Give Back program!)
PICK UP
HOW DONATION PICK UP WORKS
We will pick up donations of 4+ boxes up to 10(ish) miles from Thistle. To be added to our schedule please follow these steps.
1.
Review the list of items (below) that we do and do not accept and organize your donation of 4+ boxes.
2.
Fill out our donation pick-up request form. Remember that filling the form out does not guarantee or confirm pick up. Wait to hear from us regarding a date for pick up.
3.
On the morning of your appointment be sure to leave your items in a pre-determined spot by 8 am. If it rains, please make sure your items are covered or reschedule the appointment.
4.
Sit back and relax. Your materials are out of your way and on their way to creative hands for reuse. They skip the waste stream and also give back to the community (check out our Give Back program!)

A Note on Holiday/Seasonal Items
We can only accept holiday and seasonal crafting items 3 months before the holiday arrives. For example we will begin taking Spring-holiday craft items in January and February. If you have items from a holiday that just passed, please consider hanging onto them for us - we just don't have storage space to hang onto them for a year.
